Nothing, it was perfect.

We had an extraordinary experience staying at an ancient residence which had beautifully maintained facilities. The staff was very welcoming and provided us with excellent guidance on where to go and what to see in this city. We loved the authentic feel of the room, which included historic artwork and designs. Additionally, the breakfast served in the field was lovely, and we were able to play several historical games in the field house.
Not obvious to find where everything was located on the hotel grounds.

Had an amazing Easter break in a stunning castle. The location was perfect for exploring both the French and Spanish Basque regions. The room was luxurious and spacious, with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. The gardens were lovely to explore and the pool looked inviting, even if it was still a bit chilly.
The pool was unfortunately closed during our stay, which was a shame as we were looking forward to a swim. , we weren't aware beforehand that the pool might not be open due to the season.
